US original. Bought at Rasputin in Berkeley. Aretha at the piano, cut with the Muscle Shoals players for Wexler, Dowd and Mardin. Gospel-blues rather than Delta blues, but it’s the closest thing to blues in the collection so far, and the first serious vocal record in it.
