Paris concert, April 1964 — a previous owner pencilled ‘April 19th 1964’ on the jacket. Distributed by Fantasy of Berkeley, which dates this pressing to the 1970s. Significant for Eric Dolphy: these are among his last recorded performances before his death that June. This substantially closes the Mingus gap — no need for Blues & Roots on the wish list unless wanted for its own sake.
