In a Silent Way

Originally CS 9875, 1969; the PC prefix marks this as a mid-1970s or later pressing — same era as the Kind of Blue copy, so the two probably arrived together. Miles’s first fully electric record: Zawinul, Hancock, Corea, McLaughlin, Shorter, Holland, DeJohnette. Assembled by Teo Macero in the edit rather than played straight through, which is part of why it sounds the way it does.
